A 19th Century Brass and Gilt Renaissance Style Casket. The casket with well cast scenes of ladies and attendants, jousting knights, queens bestowing blessings, and homage being paid to kings. The lid with a fleur de lis handle, and rosette decoration to the edges. The casket standing on trifoil pierced bracket feet. The interior with velvet lining. The casket by Adolph Frankau and stamped 'AF'. Date c 1870. Height 3 3/4 inches, 10cm. Width 8 1/2 inches, 22cm. Depth 4 1/2 inches, 12 cm.Ref: 21588
