19TH C MAHOGANY BANDED BOX

An early 19th Century mahogany and brass banded box, the body with well-chosen flame mahogany panels enclosed within brass edges, the hinged top with central cartouche, the sides with flush carrying handles and an interior document pocket within the lid. The lock plate engraved 'J. Bramah, 14, Piccadilly.'
