A 19th Century Mahogany Post Box, Stationery box. With a rectangular top, banded with boxwood stringing, and fans to each corner. The centre with a posting slot, likewise banded with boxwood stringing and inlaid fans to each end. The box with a bevelled glass door, opening to the letter compartment, flanked by arched stationery pigeon holes, and a paper shelf below. The body with boxwood stringing, and finished with a stepped mould foot rim. Complete with lock and key. Height 11 1/2 inches, 29cm. Width 12 1/2 inches, 32cm. Depth 7 1/4 inches, 19cm.
