A Large 19th Century Marble Tobacco Jar.

The jar with a lantern shaped octagonal lid with a brass acorn finial.  The lid fitting into the rim of the octagonal body.  The vertical sides set with alternating panels of coloured marble, above an ogee moulded plinth.  The plinth with a flush vesta/match drawer.
