A 19th Century Miniature Chest with a rosewood body. the rectangular top above a front set with two short and two long graduated drawers. Each drawer with a cockbeaded edge, surround dramatic decoration of diamond shaped figured walnut panels, set against a satinwood background. The chest with a bowed and arcaded frieze, tapering to form the legs. Height 22 inches, 56cm. Width 19 inches, 48cm. Depth 11 1/2 inches, 28cm. Date circa 1830.Ref:
