19th C Tortoisehell Stationary Box

A 19th C tortoiseshell stationary box, the rectangular shaped box with the front divided into four quadrants by silver plated stringing with a silver plated escutcheon and key, the lid with a silver plated monogrammed cartouche and opening to reveal a lined stationary compartment with inner edge in ivory. Lovely, clean object - would look great on a desk!
