A 19th Century Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy, the rectangular caddy with a slightly domed top consisting of four panels of veneer, each with stringing radiating from the central cartouche, the hinged lid opening to reveal an interior complete with  tea compartment lid with vase shaped finial handle, the body veneered with well figured panels of tortoiseshell, the caddy raised on four small bun feet.
