A 19th Century Walnut Cabinet, Humidor. In the form of a miniature chest of drawers. The top with rounded edges, inlaid with fine chequer stringing, and centred by a brass cartouche plate. The body with likewise rounded corners, the inner edges of the mouldings with fine line chequered stringing. The sides with silver plated lifting handles, decorated with scrolled leaf engraving. The three drawers with scrolled leaf engraved flush ring handles opening to cedar lined interiors, with lift out divisions. The whole raised up on small rounded feet. Date circa 1850. Height 14 1/4 inches, 36cm. Width 12 1/2 inches, 32cm. Depth 10 3/4 inches, 27cm.Ref: 23483
