An Early 19th Century Burr Yew Wood Tea Caddy. The hinged lid with a tablet top, surrounded by sloping edges, and a rounded vertical sides. The body of rounded rectangular shape, tapering to a small base mould, and four ebony compressed bun feet. The whole with boxwood stringing to the edges, and panel divisions, the interior with two tea compartments, and the body mounted with brass lion mask ring handles.
