An early 19th Century tortoise shell tea caddy, the lid, with a rectangular slightly-domed central panel, surrounded by a concave double-sided edge. The bombe body with keyhole escutcheon enclosing two tea compartments, each with a lid and small handle. The bombe shaping to all four sides, and the caddy standing on four ball feet.
H 6 1/4 inches; w 7 inches; d 4 1/4 inches.
