A Good George III Mahogany Tea Caddy.
The hinged lid with a brass loop handle, mounted within a pair of boxwood and ebony edged, cross banded panels surrounded by a down swept concave mould, with ogee mould lower edge, the body enclosing two tea divisions. The front inlaid with ebony and boxwood stars, flanking a central cluster diamond, topped further boxwood and ebony line inlay. The corners and edge moulds picked out with boxwood rounded moulds. The whole on four ogee bracket feet.
