A Massive Mid 19th Century Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy, the hinged lid with a rounded edge, and serpentine profile, to both the front and sides, repeated to the body.  The lid opening to reveal a lined interior, complete with two cut glass tea bottles, with star cut stopper and bases, the sides panel cut and the shoulders slice cut.  The mixing bowl hobnail cut, with a star cut base.  The whole standing on four ball feet.

Height 8"  Width 14 1/2"  8 1/2"

(Could also hold spirits and ice)

Condition: One tiny chip to veneer on rear left corner (approximately 1/4") which we can have replaced if required.  Generally extremely good throughout.
