Mid 19th C Tortoiseshell Box

A mid 19th C tortoiseshell box, the rectangular box with a slightly domed top, inset with a rectangular cartouche, the front with a press button catch to open the lid which reveals an interior with ebony veneered facing and red silk velvet lining. The box standing on four ivory ball feet and in very good condition throughout.
