A 19th Century Brass Door Porter, Door Stop.

The scrolled rolled handle, finished with a ring socle, above the shank, finished to the bottom with a matching ring socle.  The bell shaped stepped base, with cast rion loading to the rear, impressed W. T. & S. for William Tonks & Son, who were 19th century manufacturers in Moseley Street, Birmingham.

Date c 1870.

Height 9 1/2 inches, width 5 inches, depth 2 1/2 inches.
