19TH C BRASS DOOR PORTER

A 19th Century Brass Door Porter, Door Stop. The axe head shaped loop handle with a chamfered socle, above a rope twist shank, finished to the bottom with a chamfered socle, as per the top. The base of shaped and stepped bell shape, with a rounded bottom mould. The rear with a cast iron loading. Date c 1840 Height 16 1/2 inches, width 5 inches, depth 2 1/2 inches
