A 19th Century Brass Door Stop, Door Porter. The door porter with a oval rope twist handle emerging from enfolding leaves. The shank formed by rising leaves, above the lions paw base. The rear lead loaded. Height 15 1/2 inches, width 4 inches, depth 3 1/2 inches. Date c 1840Ref: 21187
