A 19th Century Brass Door Porter, Door Stop.

The loop handle with leaf cast decoration, above a shank cast as rising stalks of corn, wrapped with ears of corn.  The base in the form of a gathered sheaf of corn, above a rope twist, and stepped base. The rear with cast iron loading.

Date c 1850

Height 16 inches, width 5 1/2 inches, depth 2 1/4 inches.
