A 19th Century Brass Door Porter, Door Stop. The elegant door porter with a circular loop handle, above a classical vase. The vase resting on a pedestal, with a concave edged cap, above the body decorated with swagged hare bells joined by a flower head. The pedestal finished to the base with a concave edge. The rear with cast iron lading following the shape of the pedestal. Date c 1850. Height 11 1/4 inches, 29cm. Width 4 3/4 inches, 12cm. Depth 2 1/2 inches, 7cm.Ref: 21491
