A 19th Century Bronze Figure of Narcissus. The youth depicted as he admires his reflection in a pool. He stands, his curling hair gathered with vine leaves, whilst a goat skin hangs over his shoulder. His legs slightly astride, his sandaled feet on a circular plinth base, the rims with stiff leaf decoration. The bronze finished with a Carrera marble base with a gently curving rim. Date circa 1860. Height 25 1/2 inches, 65cm. Width 12 1/4 inches, 31cm. Depth 12 1/4 inches 31cm.Ref: 23702
