A 19th Century Bronze Figure of Narcissus.

The naked youth with his wavy hair gathered in a grape and vine leaf band.  He stands with a goat skin slung over his shoulder, and wearing classical sandals.  He is drawn enraptured by his reflection in a pool.  The figure on a circular base with stiff leaf and bead decoration to the two tier edge.

Date c 1850.

Height 16 inches, width 7 inches, depth 6 1/2 inches.
