A Classical 19th Century Bronze Vase. The vase with a lambs tongue rim, over a collar entwined with vine leaves and grapes. The body decorated in relief with classical masks, emerging from lion and leopard skins. The vase held by a spreading leaf cup, over a beaded and gadrooned socle, before the base, spreading in flutes to a circular foot. The vase raised up on a circular Sienna marble plinth, decorated with a laurel band. The vase mounted with a pair of entwined vine stalk handles. Date circa 1830. Height 10 1/2 inches, 27cm. Width 12 inches, 30cm. Depth 8 1/2 inches, 22cm.
