A 19th Century Gilt Bronze Figure of a Lion.

The beast lying down, with his front paws crossed, as he looks forward and to his right,m his face emerging from a splendid mane.  The whole on a rectangular marble base, with chamfered edges.

Date c 1840.

Height 3 inches, width 6 inches, depth 3 1/4 inches.
