A Large 19th Century Door Porter.

The door stop with a loop handle above a ball and ring socle, with a long shank, with knop centre and elongated baluster lower section, finished with a ring socle.

The base formed as a fox head, with lead loading inside.

Date c 1850

Height 18 inches, width 5 inches, depth 5 1/2 inches.
