An impressive and large 19th Century Bronze depicting Diana of Ephesus. The goddess stepping forward, as she reaches for an arrow in the quiver she carries on her back. Her right hand holding her deer which leaps a tree trunk. She is clothed in a loose, diaphanous, robe, wears a dius head band and classical sandals. The whole on a rectangular plinth. Date c 1850 Height 32 1/2 inches, width 22 inches, depth 15 inches.Ref: 21197
