A pair of 19th Century bronze figures, of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. The king and queen stand in formal dress, he looking slightly to his left with shoulder cape and long cloak He holds a tri-corn hat in his left hand, his right hand resting on a fluted column and holding a staff of office. The queen stands with an elaborate raised hair arrangement, wearing a bodice dress and cloak. She stands beside a fluted column on which sits her crown, whilst she holds a fan in her right hand. The figures signed for "Campagne" and standing on two tier white marble plinths, with ormolu laurel leaf collars.


H 22 inches; w 9 inches; d 8 inches.
