A Large 19th Century Copper Lidded Tankard, the hinged lid with a ball and spire finial, above a broad rounded edge handle, tapering down to a fish tail bracket.  The body of baluster shape, resting on a spreading and stepped foot rim.

Very good patination and attractive condition.

Date c 1830.
