LARGE FOX DOOR PORTER

A Large Fox Head Door Stop, Door Porter. The brass door porter cast with a tall handle in the form of a hunting whip, above the base cast as a fox head, the ears raised. The whole on a shaped semi circular foot. The rear loaded, and enclosed in the iron back plate, impressed 'PEERAGE, ENGLAND' and a registration number. Date c 1920. Height 18 inches, width 5 inches, depth 5 1/2 inches.
