A Pair of 19th Century Bronze Ewers. Each with a waved and scalloped spout clasped by a figure of Pan, sitting within the vine leaf entwined handles. The body of the ewers with rams head masks, from which flow vine leaves and grapes. The body finished with a band of laurel leaves, above a rising reeded cup and Vitruvian scroll socle. The base spreading in rounded flutes to a circular foot rim. Date circa 1850. Height 16 inches, 41cm. Width 9 inches, 23cm. Depth 7 inches, 18cm.
