MID-19TH C BRASS DOOR PORTER

A Mid-19th Century brass door stop, door porter, the drawn bow loop handle above a shank with stepped bell-shaped socle. The base of bell shape, with a band of scrolled decoration above a rounded "D"-shaped plinth. The rear loaded with a cast-iron weighting conforming to the shape of the base.

Height 13 3/4 inches; width 5 1/4 inches; depth 2 1/2 inches.
