Bronzes / Brass /Pewter etc, Miscellaneous >> PAIR 19TH C BRONZE VASES

A Pair of 19th Century Bronze Vases, each with a broad radiating reed rim, above a body cast with Bacchanalian cherubs gambling in a vine yard, with grapes, wine ewers and musical instruments.  The lower bodies cast with rising leaves, and the vases mounted with leaf and vine stalk handles.  The socle with spreading rounded flutes to a circular food.  The vases raised up on square black marble plinths.

Amazingly atmospheric casting and attention to detail, good patination too.
