A Pair of 19th Century Cast Iron Stick Stands, by the Falkirk Foundry. The backs formed as two arches, filled and topped by flowing leaves and flowers, the bowed stick rails supported by a centre column decorated as a rising flower stalk; the base with a grid pattern two division centre, surrounded by the stepped and chamfered bow plinth, decorated with flowing leaves and flowers; The rear marked for 'Falkirk' and the registration number. The Falkirk foundry was founded in 1819 and continued until 1914. Date c 1860. Height 34 1/2 inches, width 21 inches, depth 11 inches.
