A Pair of 19th Century Chenet or Fire Dogs. The chenet in the form of a Chinese man and lady. The two figures in full costume, sitting a top Rococo scrolling balustrade adorned with flowers and leaves. The rear impressed for 'SEGHERS CASTELLE 681' the foundry. Date c 1870. Height 14 inches, width 14 inches depth 6 inches.Ref:
