A Pair of Door Porters, Door Stops. The pair of brass door porters, each with loop handles, formed as entwined ears of corn, spreading from the shank decorated as rising corn stalks. The shanks emerging from baskets of fruits and flowers. The baskets sitting on small rounded plinths. The rear of each door porter with cast iron loading conforming to the shape of the baskets. Date c 1850. Height 14 inches, width 6 inches, depth 2 inches.Ref: 21150
