A Pair of Regency Bronze and Marble Tazza. The bronze vases with beaded and curling leaf rims, overhanging the bowls, cupped in rising leaves. The bowls on ring socles and a spreading foot, decorated as per the bowl cups, with folding leaves. The tazza mounted with pairs of handles, in the form of swans with wings raised as the nest on scrolled leaves. The tazza mounted on tall sienna marble plinths, with two bands of bronze. The lower band with classical leaf decoration, joining the plinths to the larger square bases. Date c 1820. Height 10 inches, width 7 inches, depth 4 1/4 inches.Ref:
