A 19th Century Silver Plated Corinthian Column Lamp Base. With a well detailed capital, over the fluted column, tapering outward and downward to rising stop reeds. The column resting on a ringed and concave socle, standing on a square plinth, with a stepped base, decorated with bands of spreading gadroons. The interior of the base with conforming cast iron loading. Date circa 1870. Height 14 1/4 inches, 36.5cm to the top of the capital. Width 5 inches, 12.5cm. Depth 5 inches, 12.5cm.
