A Good 19th Century Ironstone Vase and Cover, the lid with a gilt dog of Phoo, and pierced holes.
The vase of octagonal tapering shap, with a hig collar, decorated in gilt anthemions against a rust coloured background. The shoulders with lapets in blue and gilt with rose heads and buds.
The main body decorated with a fanciful scene of Chinese men and women in a garden amongst trees, flowers, parrots and storks/flamingoes.
The vase mounted with a pair of dragon head gilt handles.
The lid is badly damaged, but this would make a great lamp or centre piece.
