A Pair of 19th Century Sheffield Plate Candlesticks. Each with a lift out drip pan, fitting within the well detailed Corinthian capitals. The fluted columns tapering outward and downward to ring an waisted socles. The columns resting on square outward swept plinths. The plinths very well decorated with rams heads to each corner, from which drape laurel leaf swags. The foot rims decorated with fine outward spreading classical leaf bands. The whole of very good quality and detail and in extremely good condition. Height 12 1/2 inches, 32cm. Width 4 1/2 inches, 12cm. Depth 4 1/2 inches, 12cm.Ref: 21700
