A Pair of 19th Century Wall Sconces, Wall Lights

Each with a flambeau finial topped baluster vase, with wyvern reeding, amongst rising foliage.  The vase sitting on a break front stepped back plate, with fielded panels, tapering down to rising leaves, finished with a pineapple finial.  The twin arms decorated with good leaf work, scrolling to leaf decorated drip pans, surrounding candle holders with horizontal medallion bands. 

The whole of a good scale, with an attractive slightly worn antique ormolu patination.

Date c 1840.
