A Pair of Silver Candlesticks. The candle sticks with oval, dished, lift out drip pans, decorated to the rims with overlapping leaves. The candle holders of campana vase shape, with fluted decoration and a band of overlapping leaves as per the drip pans. The candle holders resting on fluted columns, likewise decorated with overlapping leaf bands. The columns tapering to a ring socle, and thence a downward and outward swept oval base, with fluted decoration and a concave step rim. Hallmarked for William Charles Fordham and Albert Faulkner, Sheffield, 1905. Height 11 3/4, width 5 3/4 inches, 4 1/2 inches.Ref: 21289
