A 19th C rosewood French portico clock, the caddy top with overhanging gadrooned frieze decoration and beaded inlay, above a conforming base supporting four inlaid columns with acanthus decorated capitals. The porcelain dial with Roman numerals and gilt metal surround, decorated with floral relief. Maker, Marc de Paris. Impressed to back of movement, "Marc de Paris", with "7" above and "12350" below.
