A Good Quality Early 19th Century Ormolu Portico Clock, the architectural case with a classical stepped and dentil mould pediment, the frieze mounted with a finely detailed spread acanthus panel. The engraved and chased dial, with a paterae and acanthus cast bezil, flanked by four Ionic columns resting on a plinth base, with a frieze also set with spreading acanthus, on the pediment ,and embellished to the lower edge with darted leaf decorated mould.

The whole standing on four compressed bun feet, with engraved chased bands.

The eight day movement with 1/2 hour strike on a bell.

The pendulum with a lyre shank, and petal head and rosetted bob.

In very good and original condition and running well.
