An 18th Century Delft Apothecary Jar. The jar with a rounded and chamfered rim, above a slightly waisted and tapering body, resting on a concave stem, above the hollow domed circular foot, finished with an outer rim. The body decorated with a rising leaf reserve, joined at the top and bottom by flower heads. The jar on a rather 'wonky' angle! In very good condition throughout. Date c 1760. Height 7 1/4 inches, 18cm. Width 3 3/4 inches, 9cm. Depth 3 3/4 inches, 9cm.Ref: 21781b
