18TH C DELFT CENTRE BOWL

An 18th Century Delft Centre Bowl. The bowl with a circular body, sweeping downward and inward to a raised foot rim. The outer body decorated in polychrome, a scene of houses, set amongst trees, on a lakeside. The interior rim with a lattice banc, surrounding the centre depicting a bridge over a lake, with trees beyond. Date circa 1740. Height 4 inches, 10cm. Diameter 10 1/2 inches, 27cm.
