18TH C DELFT CHARGER

An 18th Century Delft Charger.

The broad slightly sloping rim painted with sprigs in flower and berry, between blue bordered rising flowers and bulbs. The centre painted with a scene of a homestead, set within a mature garden, enclosed by a fence and a hillock. The rear with dash decoration, a small foot rim, and a cross mark.

Height 13 3/4 inches, diameter 13 inches.
