18TH C DELFT CHARGER

An 18th Century Delft Charger. The broad slightly sloping firm decorated with a leaf outer band, surrounding sprigs of flowers, between which butterflies flit. The centre painted with a scene of a crane, standing in a pond, surrounded by flowers, above which another crane swoops. Date c 1740. Diameter 13 3/4 inches.
