18TH C DELFT CHARGER

An 18th Century Delft Charger. The concave rim surrounding a slightly dished centre. The whole plate painted with a scene of a lady and gentleman promenading in a landscape. The couple are shaded by a footman holding a large parasol. Trees and bushes surround them, with a church and house in the background, below passing clouds. Date c 1730. Height 2 1/2 inches, diameter 13 1/2 inches.
