18TH C DELFT CHARGER

An 18th Century Delft Charger. With an inward feathered rim, enclosing harebell swags, centred by flower heads. The centre of the charger decorated in the oriental manner, with a scene of a Chinese landscape, with tea houses, set amongst trees, beside a lake, above which birds fly. The rear with a small recessed foot rim. Height 1 3/4 inches, diameter 13 3/4 inches. Date c 1740.
