18TH C DELFT POLYCHROME PLATE

An 18th Century Delft Polychrome Plate with a sloping rim, decorated with pairs of flowers and leaves. The centre of the plate painted with a basket, filled with flowers and fruits, around which four butterflies flit. The rear of pancake form. Height 1 inch, 2.5cm. Diameter 8 ¾ inches, 22cm. Date c 1730.
