An Early 18th Century Delft Polychrome Vase. The vase with a raised collar, decorated with circle and crossed motifs. The reeded shoulders, curving into the continuously reeded rounded octagonal body, tapering inward and downward to an outward canted foot. The vase decorated with scenes of an oriental garden, amongst which birds perch, and insects flit. The panels with in broad reserve borders, painted with smaller reserves of wild flowers against a lattice and flower filled background. The underside with makers mark for DE GRIEKSCHE A. Date c 1710. Height 12 1/2 inches, 32cm. Width 9 inches, 23cm. Depth 9 inches, 23cm.
