A Late 18th Century Delft Tobacco Jar. The tobacco jar with a brass cover with an acorn finial, above the domed and ringed body. The cover fitting over the raised collar of the jar, before the rounded shoulders and cylindrical body, mounted with a pair of lion mask handles. The jar with a scene of two figures, with long pipes, as they stand each holding a tobacco leaf. The jar titled 'TABAC DU BRESIL' with a sprig of flowers above. Date circa 1780. Height 19 inches, 48cm. Width 12 inches, 30cm. Depth 9 inches, 23cm.
